Amtrak should rename it to The "Quiet" Car, with scare-quotes. Because... it's not that quiet.

I recall it being pretty strict in there on the NY to DC corridor back in 2013-2015. Is anything still sacred?
I feel like it's gotten a lot less strict over the years. Phones go off with nary a hissing from other passengers.

As a Brit if I was there I'd have given them a damn good tutting! Joking aside the noise from passenger's is one of the reasons I detest public transport.
