Hot take: when talking about money we should refer to them as 1,000 millions and not billions. The scale of a "billion" is just much, much larger than I think most people intuitively realize.

A "small" billionaire could buy a house in Hoboken for ~1/1000th of their net worth. If I bought you a gift card with 1/1000th of my net worth, you'd be like, "aw, thanks" not, "WOW THANKS AMAZING!"
