      (Is a doctorate in the History of Science better or worse than a doctorate in Literature in this situation? I could probably provide useful information like, "you know, in a few decades they might decide that your condition is really a different thing than they once thought.")

          FWIW I have used it successfully to get upgraded. Given that the financial advantages have generally minimal, I’ll take that. I was also asked if I could offer medical treatment on the flight, however. A little embarrassing...
