Man, we are in one heck of a turn of events for me to feel sorry and grateful for TSA workers. I actually thanked them as I went through security. If they don't come to work, I don't get home.

Though given the weather in the northeast, I might not get home anyway! Planes delayed coming out of Newark, planes delayed going into Newark. Sigh. At least it's sunny in San Jose. There are worse airports (cough cough, Newark) to kill a few hours.

The airport music playing is an all-muzak version Fleetwood Mac's "Little Lies." This is the most northern California thing ever. I've been away for awhile. (In Newark, the ambient noise is just LOUD BEEPING with an occasional LOUD HONKING NOISE, in my experience.)

Person collecting it was not TSA (on-duty, anyway). I assume it was quasi-legit since they were allowed to be there. As for how money is used, I don't know, but I gave them a dollar. For a dollar, I'd rather err on side of generosity than not.
