I assumed everyone who read my feed would know about it, but when I saw how widely this was getting retweeted I thought there might be a few who didn't. Also, bonus, a chance to plug my article! (And there are a few "new" things in that article, even if you know the story.)

For sure awesome article! Changed atomic history for me. Always thought the Demon Core was use at Crossroads, but learn it wasn’t. Also, didn’t know it was originally nicknamed Rufus. When did they start naming nuclear bomb cores? Do you know if that tradition continued?
