To your knowledge, are there any significant photographic records of nuclear tests from this era that remain classified?
Only a small portion of the photographs from these tests were ever released. There is a major program at LLNL going over them, digitizing them, and declassifying them where possible. You can see some of the released ones here: http://blog.nuclearsecrecy.com/misc/llnlfilms/
