Yesterday, my wife's 14 mile driving commute (the Bronx to Hoboken) took... **9 hours.** One of those things so horrible that it's kind of impressive.

Sorry, you were in Paris. No amount of "dumped my Euros at the airport" gifts will fix this problem.

I know I know "every time you go somewhere nice, the weather here gets horrible" is her mantra in all fairness, the weather is often awful even when I stick around, though
