Thanks for sharing this, Thony. A few years ago I read an article on "dyscalculia" and suddenly realized I had a name for what was going on in my own head. I know labels can be limiting, but at times they can also be liberating.

This is not quite the same thing, but I was diagnosed as having extremely poor depth perception not that long ago. "Are you bad at sports?" the optometrist asked me, making clear how futile the efforts of coaches to make me catch better by shouting at me in PE class had been.
