Humanities. As opposed to the "Arts" of STEAM (which I dislike, because Arts are not the same thing as what we do in the Humanities, and I think STEM people like including Arts because they find them to be essentially non-confrontational, unlike, say, history and philosophy).
(Which is not to say that actual Art is non-confrontational. Just that STEM folks don't find Arts to be a threat, and so are happy to say that they should add a little Arts to a STEM curriculum.)
(If one really wants to give special attention to the arts, I am okay with SHTEAM.)
Ok interesting, thanks for clarifying. I’d only add that if there’s someone who doesn’t find arts to be a threat, they haven’t seen enough art.
