      Mystery to me why a fresh CrashPlan install on clean Mac didn’t work, yet an uninstall/reinstall did. But…it’s working now!

      @mjtsai Same thing happened on my wife's MacBook this past week. CP just mysteriously died; needed to uninstall/reinstall to get it working.

      @flargh @mjtsai big problems with the java version in mavericks and crashplan. It will stop again, guaranteed.

          @crashplan fix is simple - unload and reload with launchd but it’s a pain. We need a native Mac client.

        @weldon @mjtsai @crashplan has promised before to get rid of the Mac client's reliance on Java. Wish they'd make good on that.
