It’s a place and chance to broaden your vernacular, thinking, and perspectives. I was fortunate to have attended a few of these over the years (looking at you, Brooklyn Beta), and these are truly special. (3/6)

Community feels like a strange word these days — so much of it lives online now, but if it weren’t for conferences like SXSW (when it was a wee bit smaller), Brooklyn Beta, Creative Works, New Adventures, and others… (5/6)

I wouldn’t feel as optimistic and energized about the internet over the two plus decades I’ve been making things for and on the internet.
So, while you can, please attend, if you can.
