Eliminate all life and there's nobody left to have a subjectively meaningful experience of its absence. Meaning is a consequence of beings having experiences. A being-less universe is meaningless. Here's to more beings having subjectively better experiences.

I'm not in favor of hypothetically ending all life in the universe, but I don't think the universe has meaning even with life in it. As humans we like to think in terms of meaning because we make meaning of things. We make symbols, but the Universe is a place; not a symbol.
