Addendum: - Internet friends count, if you were at any point quite close - Length doesn’t matter, but the content should be heartfelt - Phone calls, texts, carrier pigeons, etc. all count, but don’t let the format get in the way of the mission

I just sent two! I love this idea. I've been sending out Christmas cards the past two years (despite not being married/not having kids) as a forced brief communication w/ all the people I love but might not get to talk to as often as I'd like

Great idea - thanks so much for the inspiration. You reminded me to contact a friend who tragically lost his daughter a few months back. A world full of suffering and loneliness would be better if we all did this once a day minimum.
