Wish that SV could disrupt credit reporting. Three agencies with black box dispute systems reporting different accounts — tech-incompetent, yet granted our most sensitive data; people who don't even need credit incentivized to juggle 3+ cards for life but not to pay off old debt.
Also, super cool that these companies get handed your most sensitive data as a matter of course, then get to sell it back to you for $16-25/month in packages you'd only buy to ensure that they and/or the companies reporting to them haven't fucked up your life. Great incentives
And kudos to the federal government, who brilliantly decided that your *identity* should be password-protected with a single permanent non-random nine-digit number that you must routinely give to total strangers just to function in life

We're trying to. In the system we're working on for example, no company stores your sensitive data. Instead, you publicly store a cryptographic signature. If a company needs to see your data, they can check it matches the signature.
