I can actually imagine buying a set of children's size beekeeping suits without feeling even a little bad about myself, which is how I know dad is definitely my biological father

My dad's fav Christmas thing was the "family gift" — a really big present for all the kids, usually of impressive size fully wrapped & often suspiciously resembling a mid-life crisis. One year it was a very nice telescope. One year, a fancy model train set. One year, a BEE HIVE.

Anyway, we were the neighbors who decided to have a WOODEN BOX FULL OF BEES next to their pool in the 'burbs. We were much beloved in the community, especially after the bees swarmed & decided to live in the garage across the street
