It's glass-walled and surrounded by the actual offices, but I'm pretty sure our expense policy doesn't explicitly exclude thrones so it's really quite ideal

When Google was at about 100 engineers one decided the office was to crowded so just moved himself into Eric Schmidt’s office - Eric as the new CEO was like whatever and let him stay a few years until they moved buildings
