I would really struggle to like Berkeley’s mayor less. He’s fought high-density housing on all fronts. Only time I’ve seen him support building housing is in a pitch for a town hall for homeowners on building “granny units” on their lots for family or rental income.
So if in a couple of years I’m living in a shack in the backyard of someone who moved here in 1965, I’ll have that top-notch community representation to thank
