As in any industry, there will be bad players & people hurt by them. But the SV tech community is just packed with people pulling themselves up & then extending a hand to others. There’s an intellectual & compassionate aliveness here that cannot be denied.
Women in tech (like @rivatez) are doing really incredible, bizarre, novel things that would not happen without them. There is no need for a savior, here, but acknowledgement would sure be nice. From the media’s perspective, it seems we’re not interesting unless we’re suffering.
