I like AWA because I raised chickens for years *as pets*, know these animals well, & feel that their standards are up to par.

Most people have zero experience with livestock (which is totally reasonable in modern life) & most "humane" labels take advantage of this.

Hard to say. Depends on a lot of factors, inc. funding for those start-ups, whether or not there are changes to agriculture subsidies, etc.
