You're all welcome to duke it out in the replies, of course, but the horse I've trained for this race is snoozing in the pasture.

I think abortion is actually pretty close to gun control. Most people support the right to buy guns with restrictions: no machine guns. Similarly most support abortions with restrictions: no abortions late into the pregnancy.

Don't count out the dominant center.

My big caveat: How can a father stop a mother from offing the unborn child?
-
If one were pro-choice (I'm not), it would make sense to believe the mother's body is her own jurisdiction, and that just as a man can't compel a woman to get an abortion, he can't compel her to carry a pregnancy to term.

Can we remove the word big from the caveats I don’t like being extremely anything ...except adorable
-
tbh, I framed it this way in part to force people to not just automatically default to an answer that sounds very hedge-y. But if I were able to have more than 4 options, I'd probably have offered closer to 10.

should allow unrestricted abortions in the first two trimesters, limited to health conditions / family status (partner leaves) in the third is that reasonable? please forgive me my ignorance if there's any
-
the reason why i think abortions in the third trimester must have some limitations is so that people take the whole process seriously & approach it responsibly because once you have an all-powerful undo button the quality of your decisions slips dramatically, imo

I believe that people should have complete control of the decisions they make about their bodies and health care. Men and women.

And babies?
