What explanation could there possibly be for not having an ID verification process for accounts flagged as potentially run by an imposter? All of online finance requires this. I personally bootstrapped a product with this functionality >5 years ago while living on ramen.

Large companies are often much more incompetent than one-person boot-strapped companies in so many ways.

If Facebook is actually run this incompetently, I genuinely hope the next board meeting involves a serious discussion about restructuring.

I highly doubt the Weinstein ban is getting escalated to Zuck. For every unjust ban that catches your radar there are probably 100s more that some other corner of Twitter is outraged over. Some ppl really do deserve bans, and its not easy to deal with the volume.
