There is nothing sustainable about any of the current social media platforms. Currently they can do whatever they want but that will surely change in the coming years. If you think speech is being prohibited now, wait until the government gets involved.

I would add that these companies are in a tough position. After the foreign interference campaign during the last election they are being forced to examine content more closely and erroring on the side of caution makes sense to me.
