I don't think what Toobin did is the worst thing in the world or that he intended to get caught, but come on, are we actually debating whether inadvertently exposing your penis to colleagues while masturbating on the clock is a fireable offense?

"on the clock" is a tricky concept for salaried workers who work at home. It's entirely reasonable for them to fire him, but I personally would be happy if they showed some forgiveness in this case.
Remote workers usually get some flexibility in when/how they work and when they take breaks, but when we're talking about a scheduled work meeting, it's not that tricky
