Sure, that might be one reason, but the heavier lifting is probably done by socioeconomic or psychological reasons, e.g. not being able to afford a home and start a family, or developmental stunting from social media use, respectively.

Truthfully, all of these things can be dealbreakers after any amount of time. Familiarity without baseline value alignment breeds contempt. Nobody wants to have to choose between acting in accordance with what they value most and betraying that to avoid having their life explode.

True, I just think deal breakers are trying to run a regression on variables in a complex system. I don't think it's that clean. I've had what I thought was a deal breaker end one relationship end up being an attractive quirk in another.
