Theoretically, but with everyone scrutinizing each other's feeds for wrongthink friends, follows, likes, etc., it's socially challenging even where it isn't technically infeasible

This depends whether "bubble popping" implies "following a diverse range of people from different communities and backgrounds" or "following the white supremacists so you can learn more about their arguments for eugenics". Esp when viewership / engagement feeds them money.
