Is his post anything more than an admission of his life in an echo chamber? It's like pride in ignoring details and engagement with actual arguments.
The funny thing is that all four of us are pretty eclectic in our political views, with overlap in tech optimism and related politics but certainly plenty of divergence and disagreement elsewhere

Yes, its trite to say it now but basically nobody on social media cares about those differences. That cognitive load of thousands of people begs for a summary and dismissal of each one. Not sure if things I do here even make it better or worse.
