There is something toxic happening to us at the center. We should be able to see it and call it out.
We're all facing a rot encroaching from every direction, and we might favor drawing attention to whatever we're pointed at, but if we're going to avoid delivering each other to one hungry, angry mouth or the other we have to trust that disagreement isn't defection

Yes. But I can feel our fallibility at the center and I can feel it leading us to ignore the most recent and most alarming Trump news which feels like an actual red line.

There have been so many red lines though, how do you define this one as more important than the others? and How is this red line somehow objectively more important than the red lines that have been put down by the left? Is a known bad actor (T) worse than an unknown bad Actor(B)?
