Agreed. One counter argument though is that young women have never known their market value more overtly than now because DMs remove shame of proposition. I have 3 young sisters and they get ridiculous sums offered in DMs.
Agree, I just don't think they're broadly aware of the depth or implications of what they see. The rest of the world is quite intent on telling them that this is 100% burden, 0% opportunity.

Agreed. There is definitely a market distortion, but the only example I can think of where this distortion was used to augment culture is Russia, so I wonder if there are subtleties to that distortion that are important to ward off the bad parts of Russia psychology.
