Case 1 for this superspreader event had returned from Italy 1 week prior and hadn't quarantined. She developed symptoms the day before her flight and didn't declare them, though she presumably passed a temperature check. Self reporting at my job is often met with a, “But it’s probably just allergies, right?” Doubly so during smoke. Incentivized to not call out, tough it out. Likewise, outside of the store many people hang together in small quarters. Seems like one infection could easily spread...
