This tweet is part of the problem. Cops are not our masters or overseers. If they refuse to do their jobs there needs to be mechanisms in place to replace them. Violence is always wrong, but it's not an excuse for police brutality. Get rid of guns too, but that'll never happen.

The Westboro Baptists were always peaceful. They phoned the police ahead of time whenever they protested, and were never violent even when attacked (which they were frequently). “Celebrating death”, maybe, but that’s where it ends. They were provocateurs, not manslaughters.
