How cognizant were you of every moment you had as a kid? Seems very plausible any kid could look like that after an "awesome day". I'm no fan of school but this seems like very little evidence of anything.
The joke is that he looks miserable, which he absolutely does. I'm not going to ACKCHUALLY this one, because what's the point? If you see a happy kid there, I guess you see a happy kid.

My point was not that he doesn't look sad there it's that photos are snapshots that can easily mislead about what was actually going on. For example this is true of so many political photos where xyz politcs team are trying to claim something.
