The test I took has a 30% FALSE-NEGATIVE RATE so you basically have to take it twice to get any real signal. Takes 2-4 days to get results back meaning it could be as long as 8 days of quarantine before having high confidence in the results.

Made me just want to quarantine for another 6 days and skip the test altogether.

Sort of amazing how many problems you can solve with "just do it twice", and how rarely people resort to that. Easiest way around low base rates, I think.

CODX PCR test is pretty accurate. antibody tests just aren't.
