I just thank god neither of them have sprouted opposable thumbs or mastered the English language on their limited canine vocal cords, because they absolutely would sell my kidneys for chicken nuggets

We had a cat who would wake up from a dead sleep to come and check whether the sound of the freezer-door opening meant ice cream. He also knew that Starbucks frap lids (domes) meant whipped cream & could somehow tell when a bag of groceries contained a sealed pint of ice cream.
