Do you think Netflix should cancel the entire thing now because their terrible blunder in marketing? I don’t think anyone is arguing the distaste and creepiness of that poster.
I have no idea because I haven't seen the film. But I really, really don't buy "this okay because it's about how child exploitation is bad!" when children were *clearly* exploited in order to produce the marketing materials.

I don’t think exploiting children was the intent of the filmmakers. Might have been for executives/marketing at Netflix but I’m not sure. Is it on purpose or tone deaf idiocy on their part? Possibly both. I feel bad that mistake affects the perception of the actual filmmakers.
