I want to understand wtf is up with QAnon, but it's Magic The Gathering all over again. By the time you develop the interest, too many expansions have been released and it all just feels like too much of a commitment

The two constants I notice are exploitable open-ended language and an invocation of a sense that “epic justice is cresting, sit around and wait, everything is under control”. It’s yet another myth of the external savior, hijacking political will and agency of those it hypnotizes.
