since this idiot keeps tagging me in his hypocritical bullshit i do want to respond. i shared a link on portland the moment i found out about it, which was by the way BEFORE he did. still waiting for him to tweet the word “uyghur” though. won’t hold my breath.https://twitter.com/MarcBodnick/status/1284526090027823104 …

i saw a video, admittedly incomplete, of a guy being “arrested” by unknown agents who didn’t read rights. shoved the guy in an unmarked car. if that’s legit, it’s a kidnapping.

There's reason for alarm here, it's just that nearly every time we see this stuff there's a delay of a few weeks before the full context emerges & the general rule is that the situation either looks completely resolved or much worse. I don't think anyone can pick 'em in advance

It’s bizarre to realize how many people think the foundations of the just use of force are centered around whether the vehicles people are put in have government agency logos on them.

Check out the local journalists on the scene.
@MrOlmos@tuckwoodstock@OPB@PDocumentarians@portlandmercury@Oregonian Best example. Feds and Portland Police waited until@JoAnnPDX left before gassing people. I guess gassing a city commissioner isn't yet an approved tactic.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

The mayor tied the hands of local police, so the Feds are arresting people participating in riots related to the Federal courthouse attacks. As someone coming from left of center, the fact that we let an unruly mob go on this long is insane to me.
