Wait... parents aren’t letting *14-year-olds* ride into town without an adult?
-
1) A 14-year-old would have 44-year-old parents and 74-year-old grandparents in this social class. At *best*, that's direct experience of terrible crime "in town". At worst, it's the parents getting told explicitly if sotto voice by white flighters with exp. "Town is dangerous"

Better than OK. This just makes me sad. It's no wonder there is a mental health crisis in this country.

people are gonna realize how stupid it is to send your kids away for 10 hours a day.

Work 80-hour weeks to afford to pay the chauffeur, maid, and cook who feed, clothe, and shuttle your kids back and forth to their extracurriculars/SAT prep courses. Make more in a year than Dad makes in a decade, and be less satisfied.

But if you're not founding your own company at the age of 12, how are you supposed to get into Harvard? /"Woke as an explict 'F8ck Asians' reaction to Tiger Moms by UMC whites" theory. //Dad stares in horror at my one cousin who works 80 hour weeks to pay the chauffeur.
