Start helping other people in small ways right away. Really listen to people and think about who you know that could help them do what they're trying to do. Sincerely hope the people around you meet their highest potential, even if it's greater than yours

It is true. Nuance to the situation is that you're very smart and that helps you stand out. More traditional paths probably make a bigger difference for people 15-20 IQ points below you than they would've for you.

So very true. I owe my career to perhaps 3 or 4 well worded intro emails. It felt terrifying to send them at the time, but each one has been an entry into higher forms of learning, thinking and being.
