I had to renew back in March. All of three people had masks. One of the workers had a mask, but was wearing it around her neck like some kind of magic amulet. 0/10 would not repeat.

i went to the DMV today, figuring that it would be a ghost town because of the aforementioned viral pandemic. hoo boy. i think the estimated wait was 6-8 hours. in 100F heat. and they wouldn't even let you take a number and leave - you have to wait in that atrocious line.
