Just a reminder that the backbone of our entire education system — non-interactive one-to-many lecturing — is a demonstrably terrible way to learn anything. And we've known this for a very, very long time.

It seems to me that I use different modes of interaction when reading a paper book, reading a digital document, and watching a YouTube video, and that the last one is most like an in-person lecture. I agree that autonomy is key. Forced customized tutoring would be bad.
