That feels a lot like the environment I've seen on most occasions in tech. I mean don't get me wrong I've seen the ugly side too but I feel like most Ppl are empathetic, good and trying. Thanks for sharing
Yeah, that's been my experience, too. @FeliciaHorowitz has been hosting a lot of these conversations and she's also got an incredible talent for it. We all have a lot to be frustrated about and it's just nice to see a generally positive and generative vibe re: tough conversations
Indeed and that requires actually listening (which is a skill in of itself), empathy as you say, and being willing to question and be questioned. ahh the art of having a productive disagreement
