In solidarity with many of you, until Apple removes its 30% fee from revenue generated through App Store purchases I will not be making anything I have built available for download there. In the event I ever build an iOS app I may reconsider, but for now, I’m standing strong.
Until this very moment I think I failed to appreciate just how brave of me it has been to never even learn Swift

Is there any reason for Swift to exist aside from Apple’s desire to have a proprietary language it can use to lock developers and codebases into their platform?
