I think it may be unavoidable that things get quite a lot worse before they get better. I don't believe we've reached peak fever pitch. This is snowballing. I do think anything that can cause the final stretch to be a few feet shorter will spare us all considerable damage.

Sam brought data as usual, whether it's covid or policing. I do think that you strawmanned the protesters though, simply declaring as a matter of intuition most are there for police brutality. And don't express same ire for politicians who are legal looters, held less accountable
