If we need a name for the entire democratic party platform, we could just call it the democratic party. Meanwhile, one of my neighbors is going to be attacked, mugged or raped today and they are going to need to have someone to call.

actually *improve* policing by realigning incentive structures in the industry. Make neighborhood security forces directly accountable to their constituency, and they’ll naturally operate as service providers vs an occupying military force.
