What’s even worse is people saying “lockdown is killing more people than the virus is”. It may well be, a little (or not), but that’s totally irrelevant. The proper question is how many people is the lockdown *preventing* the virus killing, which might be far higher (or not).
I don't like "is the cure worse than the disease?" because at this point what we're doing is like 50% leeches & 50% chemotherapy

It’s possible that masks and washing hands and staying a couple of meters from people would have been almost equally as effective as closing businesses and making people stay home, but it was really really hard to know that two months ago.
