To be fair, it's unclear if TSLA is a net positive for CA gov finances. TSLA has huge carveouts for sales tax and other taxes. CA pays about $2500 in direct subsidies for most Tesla car sales in CA. They also prob pay very little in property tax due to how Fremont was acquired

Not defending her...but it at least seems like EM wants to reopen Tesla factory which would prob be very deadly for employees. And it doesn't help that he acts like a huge infant.
