May move out of the Bay for a bit in July/August. Thinking about Reno/Tahoe, Las Vegas, SLC. Possibly Colorado? Want to stay close-ish to CA. Thoughts, suggestions, leads?

Pacific Northwest area has the best July/August IMO.

Utah has great summer weather, a thriving tech scene, immediate access to nature in every direction, low cost of living, and drinking coffee is all it takes to join the counterculture

Just curious where you would put SLC in terms of "thriving tech scene"? 1) Bay area 2) ??? 3) ??? Curious since finding good talent & where is always a question for us. Thx for chiming in.

Tucson might be worth looking into. Yeah, Arizona summer, but Tucson is at elevation. It’s beautiful country ringed by mountains and frankly a prettier desert than the Mojave, a day’s drive from CA, and has a lot more feel of place than Phoenix. A great place to rest and think.
