May move out of the Bay for a bit in July/August. Thinking about Reno/Tahoe, Las Vegas, SLC. Possibly Colorado? Want to stay close-ish to CA. Thoughts, suggestions, leads?

Pacific Northwest area has the best July/August IMO.

South Lake Tahoe for an amazing community in the mountains. I hike/MTB/ski directly out my front door. Reno is great if you still want a bit more of an urban setting with access to Tahoe, but you’ll have to drive there.
