I know we're not supposed to say it out loud because the virus might be listening but it is actually very very very not-constitutional for the mayor to make having a friend over a crime

Are you in CA? I’ve been pretty lucky in SF I guess... been able to take walks whenever/wherever and hang in the wooded parks with no hassle, admit I’ve met some friends for distanced walks there too, with masks and all that ofc... are you getting shit for leaving your place?

You’re right. It’s a half-assed quarantine, which is why 2000/day are still dying. I’d be angrier about the incompetence than about the limits. Because there’s absolutely no strategy anywhere except Hawaii.

Please stop stumping for a brand of lockdowns, crafted by abject morons, that are obliterating years or a decade+ of quality of life for tens of millions of people. The governmorons deserve unbridled wrath for engaging in avoidable econo-sledgehammerism:https://twitter.com/csuwildcat/status/1253656080078434305?s=19 …

Hmmm almost as tho the founding fathers didn't factor in global pandemics when writing the Constitution?? Agree we need a clearer more cogent plan, but let's not pretend the Constitution got everything right 230 years ago. Just take a look at all those amendments...

Well, I am a "law doctor", or at least I have a Juris Doctor Degree. Prior quarantines restricted international and interstate travel. In many places, the "quarantine" quite resembles house arrest of healthy ppl, and thus likely violates the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 14th Amends.
