I think the Voxels feel that they are doing the right thing regardless: their goal is not to inform, but to influence. They are doing their best to impose a corrective ideology on their readers. Factual truth is seen as only instrumental, to shift the narrative towards virtue.

The upside of these kind of moments are that you find out which news sources are trustworthy and who should be mentally blocked. Theoretically anyways. Still working on the trustworthy bit.
