I believe the intent is to get people to ask themselves whether the information they are about to share is actually accurate, or reliable, before they share it (repeat it to another person, re-tweet it, et cetera): it may be the first time they had wondered that so critically.
Maybe I did misunderstand you? But the rest was me trying to explain my model, admittedly not in the most tactful way. I don't really think sheeple exist and I have no idea whether you're an "elitist."

Yes, we absolutely part ways. If you bestow smug condescension upon people and then follow up with a shrug emoji that is likely to happen. You will benefit more from being unfollowed and blocked at this moment than I am likely to benefit from continuing to follow you.
